Joseph, that is sad.... Im sorry to hear that. That's really a devastating story. And I agree about how corrupt our government is.

I am also saddened by the story of that young filipina and what that japanese guy did to her. Im a filipina and it hurts when I read stories like this.... im not a porstitute but filipinas have a bad image online and it's just sad.

what a cruel world.

70 year old Japanese saves Canadian in Philippines

I am sad to hear about these injustises especially after my life was saved by foreigners
(Japanese and Philippines) There is corrution everywhere. What gives me hope is when God says\"It is appointed unto man once to die after this the judgement\" Hebrews 9:27 and for the saved
\"Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those that live him.\"
      Here is my story
I am a Canadian citizen born in Montreal, Canada from Italian immigrants. On February 1, 2009 I was shot 6 times with a 9 mm handgun by Marcellino Rogador, in San Pablo, Laguna. The shooting stopped a 6 bullets because Mr. Kiyuna, my landlord , was putting golfballs across the street and saw the event. He rushed to my defence standing between me and the killer and pleading for him to stop saying \"Sorry, Sorry, Is it not Enough\". That is when the shooter stopped shooting. He still had three more rounds in the gun. I miraculously survived but with permanent damages.
I lost a kidney, was shot on the side of the jaw, shoulder and abdomen. I was shot because I complained to Rogador that his dogs were harassing me in the street while I was taking Mr. Kiyuna\'a Labrador for his daily walk
Mr. Kiyuna I was told left the Philippines immedeately after for Japan for fear of his life. You see the killer is known to police, has police and officials as allies and has threatened the neighbours with death if they testify. This man has left his wife for dead in a field and believe it or not the wife is back with him and present when the incident happened.
The police investigation here is a joke with only one police officer investigating and the authorities here have tried to convince my wife to drop the charges by accepting financial compensation. Neber has an official come to take to me. The Canadian government also has done nothing to help me out.
This is like the Mindanao massacre but in a much smaller scale. But there are similarities as far as public corruption and fear in the Philippino people concerning these officials. Both shootings were in broad daylight and both have no fear of prosecution.
I have to hire a lawyer to help prosecute this man and he has never seen one day in jail.

Japanese society is not very open to outsiders. I know of a European who works for a multi-national and is married to a Japanese. He says that even as he speaks Japanese, is married to one and they have two children => he is unable to have Japanese friends. They still don't accept him as equal or good enough.

In the case here:
The Philippine government is also to blame! They prefer their female citizen to work as prostitutes because in brings money to the country. The Philippine government then can sit back and do nothing for the country and remain corrupt.
An European in-depth-documentary once showed the hard reality of Philippine prostitutes in Japan. They were nothing more then sex slaves, less valued then dogs by their users.
Also the story of a 14-year old was told. She was deported back to Philippines after being freed from her pimp. They interviewed her mother and the comment of the mother made me sick. She was angry at the Japanese police for stealing HER income. How am I going to live now? Now I must pay AGAIN to get my daughter at work!
That woman and this Nozaki deserve the same sentence: to rot in jail.
So also the traffickers and the corrupt police and government officials in both countries.

Ok, first of all WHY does it say if you're "American"? Please tell me the name of ONE Japanese person who has been sentenced to death on behalf of killing an American foreigner? You fools need to bring down all these stupid barriers and as foreigners and come together and fight the system, because unlike the title of your story, Americans would also be served injustice all the same! Wake up! You're title should say: What would have happened is she was JAPANESE... reassuringly "rot in jail", and THAT, unlike your title, is a fact!

Foreigners of all nations need to band together! Japanese birth rate has dropped drastically and the need for foreign workers have increased dramatically! For the sake of your own health, the health of your children who may one day work in Japan, and the sake of your foreign friends and their families, COME TOGETHER as foreigners and FIGHT!

I really expect the Japanese bow publicly, and beg for the pardon from the family of this pure girl (as they would expect in a case when a foreigner kills a Japanese).
