Ive been watching this, only 2 in, but its pretty good. The lead chick (Matsuhita Nao?) character is pretty annoying, but the story line is good, and I reckon its not far off the truth, especially in the battle between the old-guard Japanese gray-hairs, and the young Westernized whippersnappers.

I have just watched the first episode. In this series, as in Hagetaka, I am learning lots of cool Japanese words. I don't know if it is the dramatization of a good story or what, but I remember words that my brain isn't usually able to absorb easily when I watch a drama that I love.

You mention that this may be a bit realistic. Apart from Matsushita Nao's over acting at places (e.g.「この裏帳簿、すごいじゃん！」、as if they would really say stuff like that..), I think that the actual chain of events that the auditors dig into is very close to reality - at least in Japan. I work at a large multinational company too, very close to the Finance department. We are listed on the US stock exchange too, so all of our financial processes are all SOX relevant. We don't however *comply* with SOX regulations, so much as "対応" (make ourselves compliant) to them. It is a big difference, and there is a fine line. I can easily see other companies who are not multinational (no SOX... yet) grossly crossing the line every year, just like 北陸建設 did in episode one.

Thanks for putting up the first episode by the way. Would there be any chance of making the others available? I have missed them all up until now, but will record the rest (only 2 more?) myself.
