I need help to fine matchmaking firms or service centers in Japan, I would like to deliver my business proposal to them. Here in Philippine, my company is working with major Korean matchmaking firms in Korea for introducing Philippine ladies to Korean gentlemen, matchmaking services. Members in my company are selected and maintaining certain level for meeting both ladies and gentlemen’s expectation, and we do monthly member information update services as well.

  2. My name is Codi and other than anime, I wanted to know if it’s possible for me to get my Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/Metal Hero ideas realized

  3. Given your quality sense of humor (as demonstrated by your About picture etc.) and penchant for tackling issues that baffle even the most hard core gaijins living in Japan, I was wondering if I could provide you with a copy of my new book – American MaleWhore in Tokyo – and if you get some good laughs out of it, I’d be grateful for a shout out or review.

It’s a juvenile/explicit comedy that sheds light on Japan and its culture in general as well as the dazzling yet seedy culture of host clubs. As I’m sure you know, the job duties of hosts include getting paid by women to party, flirt, and quite often sleep with them. And as we’ve seen, some of these guys make astounding amounts of money while doing astounding amounts of damage to their livers.

Please contact me at any time if interested.

    Kanpai,
    John Box

  6. Hi. I worked in Japan in 1985 for 6 months as a fashion model. I made alot of money at that time. Can I collect my taxes that I paid into the Japanese system now at 61 years of age?

    Thanks

  7. Hello there,

I wonder if you would be interested in receiving a free review issue of the Deep Kyoto: Walks e-book for your site? Deep Kyoto: Walks is an anthology of 18 meditative walks about Japan’s ancient capital by renowned Kyoto experts like Pico Iyer and Judith Clancy. More than a guide book, it is a rich and varied account of life lived in Kyoto by those who call it home. You can find out more about it here: http://www.deepkyoto.com/about-the-book/

If you are interested and would like a free issue of the e-book, then send me your email address and I will get one to you right away.

    Best wishes,

    Michael Lambe

(P.S. The e-book can be read on your smart phone, personal computer or on pretty much any kind of device)

  8. Hi,

I am visiting Japan this coming week with my family, and I wanted to know if I could ask you some questions regarding child safety (as far car seats) and also some cultural questions. If you could email me that would be great.

    Thanks!

    Maliaha

  9. Hi,

I posted a reply here when I was very young on your “calling an ambulance in Japan” article. I was very interested in ambulances and paramedics and made a reply berating you for calling them “ambulance drivers”. In reality – the EMS system in Japan is terrible. They are really not paramedics as they are really just firefighters/ambulance drivers. Could you possible delete that comment as well as this one?

    Thanks
    Ben

  10. Hello! I enjoyed reading your website. I am Emi, a mother of 2 children living in Kanagawa, Japan. I have opened the website for foreign people who have troubles living in Japan.
    http://www.emin.jp/irai

I put the link to your website because your website is very useful for foreigners. I am sorry I have done it without your permission so please let me know if you want me to delete the link. I will do it immediately.
I’m planning to make cartoons that show some troubles most likely to happen to foreign people in Japan. It would be great if you could tell me some of your episodes that you experienced in Japan. Thank you for reading my message. From EMI
